Accra Mayor, Dr Okoe Vanderpuije, has won the Ablekumah South constituency seat in the Greater Accra Region.
He polled 19,984 representing 54.25% of valid vote cast, as against his closest contender the opposition New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Lawyer Jerry Ahmed who garnered 15,524 representing 44.86% of valid vote cast.
