The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Okaikoi North, Fuseini Issah has won the constituency seat.
He polled 28,083, as against his closest contender, the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Abdul Razak Issah whoo garnered 23, 617.
Mr Fuseini Issah is replacing Mrs Elizabeth Sackey in Parliament who decided not to seek re-election during the NPP’s primary.
The Okaikoi North constituency seat has been the preserve of the opposition party as it has occupied it since the year 1997.
