The offices of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) and the Youth Employment Agency(YEA) in Damongo in the Northern Region which were locked up by some youth said to be New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters have been opened.

They burgled the said offices and announced a takeover a day after Nana Addo was declared president elect in the 2016 general elections.

The offices of the two government institution were braced with woods Saturday afternoon and a written caveat was left behind for heads of the two agencies.

Content of the written warning is asking the two heads to henceforth stay away from the offices.
The youth are accusing the NADMO head Mr. Abass Dangba, a kingmaker of the Damongo Traditional Area of disrespecting and challenging authority of the overlord of the Gonja kingdom.
Abass Dangba is fighting the overlord over who has the right to choose a king for Damango, a development the youth view as desecrating.
They also accused the District Coordinator of the YEA of victimising supporters of the NPP by refusing them jobs in the agency, and therefore, want the two individual out since there was change of government.
Police has launched an investigation into the matter.
