Chief Justice, Georgina Theodora Wood, has tasked Christians to ensure that they raise men and women who are godly to save the nation from destruction.

Ghana she says lacks honest and God-fearing people in both public and private circles who can help move the nation forward.

“We must confess our desperate cries to God to raise for us men and women of truth and purity and people who are determined to defy the odds and remain steadfast in the faith,” shetold a gathering at the 22nd Synod of the Accra Diocese of the Anglican Church.

She adds that the country is presently battling with“dishonest” and “divisive” individuals, who have largely contributed to the slow pace of development in the country.
