Asamoah Gyan has made his debut for Chinese club Shangai SIPG.

And on a day that mattered most to his two-year 350,000 dollars a week wage deal, Gyan came from the bench to score.

Shangai SIPG managed a 2:1 win over Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League Thursday courtesy his late winner.

The 80th minute goal sealed a sweet victory for Gyan’s new team, who are paying him some 350, 000 dollars in weekly wages.

SIPG’s victory takes them top of the Chinese top flight league table, and are two points ahead of Beijing Guoan.
