Commissioner of the Customs Excise and Preventive Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Wallace Kofi Akondor, has been fired.

Kasapafmonline.com can say he’s been replaced by John Vianney Kuudamnuru, until today Head of Imports and Exports at the headquarters of the Service.

Akondor was appointed in May 2014. He replaced Isaac Ofoe Apronti.

It is not clear what led to the sack but this website understands that a statement making formal the sack will be issued by the presidency in the next few hours.
