President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday morning hit the ground running with his administration at the seat of government- the Flagstaff House.

He first inspected a Guard of Honour mounted by the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) after arriving at the Flagstaff House at exactly 9am.

He was subsequently ushered into his office. He then moved into a meeting with his staff at the Presidency.

President Akufo-Addo was over the weekend sworn into office at a colourful inauguration ceremony held at the Blackstar Square which had the Ivorian leader,Alassane Dramane Ouattara as the Special Guest of Honour.

Several foreign dignitaries including heads of state and representatives of governments also attended the inauguration.
