A woman was caught trying to smuggle her boyfriend out of jail – by dragging him in a bright pink suitcase.
Ibrain Jose Vargas Garcia is serving a nine-year sentence at Jose Antonio Anzoategui prison, north-eastern Venezuela, for car robbery.
His girlfriend Antonieta Robles Saouda, 25, travelled to visit her beau with the pink case in tow.
But she raised suspicions when guards noticed she was struggling to carry it back out, reports the Sun .
And when they opened up the hold all, Vargas Garcia was discovered squashed inside of it.
His girlfriend had also stuffed extra material in the case, either for padding or to conceal his outline.
The man was sent back to his cell and Ms Saouda was arrested.
A six-year-old girl who had accompanied her on the visit was taken into temporary care by social services.
