Mr Antwi- Boasiako Sekyere, the Eastern Regional Minister, has underscored the need for Ghanaians to preserve and nurture the peace the country is currently enjoying.

He’s asked Muslims to conduct themselves well in the upcoming 2016 general election, to ensure an incident-free election come next year.

Mr Boasiako Sekyere gave the advice during the Eid ul Fitr celebration at the Central Mosque in Koforidua.

Alhaji Yussif Amudani Sulemana, Eastern Regional Chief Imam also called on politicians to run issues-based campaigns devoid of insult, rancour and name calling.
