Ghanaian Ace actor Adjetey Anang popularly known as “Pusher” has joined MK Casting for the second edition of the Actors Workshop.
Adjetey Anang beat the likes of Van Vicker, Jose Tolbert, Alphones Menyo and Eddie Watson to pick up the Best Actor in the recently ended Ghana Movie Awards.
The first edition, which was held last year, saw a massive turn up of up and coming actors. MK Casting is a casting agency that represents Actor/Model/Sport person/Presenter, or otherwise, in the fields of motion pictures, legitimates stage, radio broadcasting, television and other fields of entertainment across Africa and the world.
Mawuko Kuadzi is one more time spearheading the second edition of the Actors Workshop. He is well known for casting of Beasts of No Nation, Netflix original Film that starred Idris Elba and brought Ghanaian born Hollywood actor Abraham Attah to fame.
He was also the Casting Director for Out of the Village which has won 13 awards at various international film festivals, Farm House production’s Yolo TV series, High Life TV Series, Yankee Bound movie, Adowa documentary, Turkish Airlines Commercial and many more.
Mawuko Kuadzi is also the manager of Ghanaian born Hollywood actor Abraham Attah, Strika and Kobina Amissah-Sam who played Abraham’s father in Beasts of No Nation.
Producer/Director Dayan Fields who is best known for his movie “Cartel” will also join the workshop.
The workshop will focus on Acting techniques, voice exercise, improvisation, scene work and professional acting sides.
The workshop will also be used to discover new talent for up coming productions locally and internationally.
Mawuko Kuadzi who is also the C.E.O of MK Casting said “there are a lot the Ghanaian film industry need to do and he will avail himself to bring change to the film industry”. He also added “this Actors Workshop is not for only beginners who want to act but everyone who want to pursue acting or already pursuing acting.
