The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) must ensure that its General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong and First Vice Chairman Freddy Blay step aside or the party should forget winning the upcoming 2016 elections, a man of God Apostle Dr. Addo Agyekum has averred.
According to him per a revelation he received from God, the two men are responsible for the NPP’s woes, a situation he contends is bound to cause the party’s defeat come 2016 elections.
The NPP has known no peace ever since it emerged from its national congress held in Tamale April 12, as there appears to be deep rooted division and suspicion among the party’s hierarchy which is affecting the party’s internal cohesion.
Party National Chairman Paul Afoko and General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong have come under intense pressure from section of the party and the public, who believe the two are clandestinely working to ensure the defeat of Nana Akufo Addo in the 2016 election.
But speaking to Kweku Owusu Agyei on Kasapa 102.3 FM’s afternoon political show, Si Mi So, Apostle Dr. Addo Agyekum stressed that contrary to popular perception, Chairman Afoko is not to blame for the NPP internal wrangling.
“I’m telling you today, Freddy Blay and Kwabena Agyepong are the cause of the division and suspicion in the party, their continues stay in office means the NPP will not win the upcoming election. By their actions they always play the NPP into the hands of the NDC”
“For your information, Kwabena Agyepong and Freddy Blay are the ones who release all the NPP secret tapes into the system, and what is even worse is that they give such information to the NPP’s enemies. Freddy Blay first started the leakage and then Kwabena also followed. Freddy Blay is doing all this to please Nana Addo while Kwabena Agyepong does that to defend he and Afoko’s course” Apostle Addo Agyekum intimated.
He added that the NPP will do themselves a great deal of good by ensuring these senior officials stay away for a while.
