The Lebanese Supervisor of the Abelenkpe branch of Marwako restaurant, Jihad Chaaban, who allegedly dipped the face of a Ghanaian worker, Evelyn Boakye, in hot blended pepper on Wednesday, March, 8, 2017 has been granted bail in the sum of Gh¢20,000.
Chaaban, as part of his bail conditions, is expected to report at the Tesano district police station every Tuesday and Friday.
Presiding judge, Victoria Ghansah adjourned the case to March 20, 2017, to allow the victim, Evelyn Aboagye to be cross-examined.
Reports say Boakye, the lady at the centre of the assault case was in court today to narrate her ordeal.
The family of the 25 year old lady, Evelyn Boakye who suffered the abuse of her boss earlier told Kasapa 102.5 FM that they will fight in court the maltreatment unleashed on the young lady.
They insist on their right to justice saying they will by all means use the legal system to fight the terrible treatment meted out to the victim by the abusive supervisor.
