Felicia Asamoah, a 36 year old woman from Kumasi has been arrested at the Ankaful Maximum Security Prison in Cape Coast for attempting to smuggle a quantity of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp to an inamte.
She was busted on Wednesday, 29th of March after a thorough search on two pairs of slippers she was bringing to the inmate was found to have been tampered with.
Security officers at the gate cut open the slippers and found quantities of the substance embedded in them. 
Following interrogations, the suspect disclosed that she was sent by her husband, George Kumah, who is a brother to to Kwame Adu an inmate, who’s serving a 65-year jail term with hard labour to deliver the consignment.
She has since been handed over to the Elmina Police to assist in investigations.
