As part of the Valentine’s Day celebration, Mass market radio, Kasapa FM presented items to new mothers at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Greater regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital) and Adabraka Polyclinic in Accra.

The Kasapa Team donated over 100 hampers which had assorted items for babies including diapers and others to the women at the maternity ward of the three facilities.

The items include a brand new deep freezer to the Adabraka Polyclinic Labour Ward to replace an old one and also presented a cheque of GHC5,000 to the Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The second edition of KasapaFm’s Valentine’s Day Celebration is Themed ‘Kyere Wo Do‘.

The Business Manager for Kasapa Fm, Patrick Amaning said the Unit decided to show love to nursing mothers on this special day because women go through a lot in life.

“It was really a great experience giving to such persons who lack and needed our love and support. They were all full of smiles and very appreciative of our kind gesture.” Patrick Amaning noted.

The Administrators at all the three facilities were grateful for the gesture and asked for stakeholder support to improve health care delivery especially pregnant women and infants.

The presentations to the new mothers at the three health facilities were made possible by Dechris Company, Beta Malt from ABL, Zeeghurt, Fortune Rice and End Point Homeopathic Hospital.

Other individuals who also supported this noble course include, Mr. Nathan Kwabena Adisi-CEO of EIB Network, Hon. Bryan Acheampong-MP Kwahu Abetifi. Mr. Sammy Awuku-NPP National Youth Organizer, Mr. Tamakloe-Lashibi Puma Fuel Station, and AD-Exclusive.
