The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency, Mr. E.T Mensah says he’s not decided to bow out of parliament yet as was being rumoured.

E.T Mensah noted that contrary to speculations that suggest he is stepping down because he’s tired, he’s seeking a re-election for the Ningo prampram seat in the upcoming NDC primaries.

According to him, the decision on whether or not he is going to contest the elections shouldn’t be determined by anybody.

“If I am tired it doesn’t lie in anybody’s mouth to say that I’m tired- I should know myself that I’m tired.” If anybody wants to contest they have the right to do so,” he said in an interview with an Accra-based Citi FM.

Mensah is facing stiff opposition from  presidential staffer Samuel George Nartey.

He entered Parliament in 1996.
