Celebrated broadcaster, Fiifi Banson has professed his love for the two top dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

Speaking with Bola Ray on Starr Fm’s Starr Chat show, Wednesday, the veteran media personality disclosed that he has no copy of songs by the new crop of artistes.

The Dynamite, as he is affectionately called, said he hardly listens to songs from the present-day artistes.

Banson said he loved how the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker rebranded himself from Bandana to Shatta Wale. He also disclosed that he likes Stonebwoy for his humbleness.

“I’ve never kept any song by the contemporary artistes. I don’t have one copy of any song by Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and others. I really love Shatta not for his lyrical content but I love him for his ability, his brand. When he was Banadana and the way he metamorphosed to Shatta, I love the change and how he branded himself but as for his lyrical content, sometimes he goes overboard. I love Stonebwoy for his humility.

“My all time best artiste in Ghana will be Daddy Lumba.” Fiifi Banson said on Starr Chat.

Mr. Banson, known for his high sense of humour and unique baritone voice was Morning show host for Kasapa 102.5 FM since its inception three years ago.

Kwaku Owusu Adjei, popularly known as Patoo now takes over as the host of the Kasapa FM morning show.

Fiifi Banson had previously worked with Radio Gold and Peace FM all in the nation’s capital.
