Startimes Ghana, the official Broadcaster of the Ghana Premier League has introduced a new local channel, ‘Adepa Tv’ to promote Ghanaian movies and music across the continent.

Launching the channel, Head of marketing for Startimes Ghana, Akofa Djankui urged movie producers to take advantage of the platform to sell their work and the Ghanaian culture to the world.

She also said the new station will closely work with movie and music producers to produce specific content for Adepa TV.

“We will continue to work with the film industry in Ghana, acquire more local content and possibly commission filmmakers to produce specific content for Adepa”. She said

This initiative will help develop the local movie industry, which is currently facing several challenges.
