Gyedu Blay Ambolley and Bessa Simons have declared their intentions to contest for the seat of the National Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Presidency as Bice Osei Kuffour’s (Obour) administration comes to an end in May 2019.

The latest to join the race for the National Vice Presidency position is Richie Mensah of Lynx Entertainment.

The Chief Executive Officer of Lynx Entertainment in a short video shares his 12-years experience in the music industry along with his contribution and prospects should he be given the nod to the position of the Vice Presidency of MUSIGA.

“In my efforts to standardize the industry, I embarked on projects such as Music Plus, Music this Week, The Future project an official Ghana music chart and Ghana Music Live App. There is so much more that can still be done, which is why when nominations open, I will be picking up forms to stand for Vice President for MUSIGA,” he said.

Richie has produced some of the best artistes in Ghana including Eazzy, OJ Blaq, Asem and Ziggy.

He is currently managing KiDi, Kuami Eugene and MzVee on the Lynx Entertainment label.
