The Minister-designate for Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta and the Minister-designate for the Interior, Ambrose Derry are scheduled to face the Appointments Committee of Parliament for their vetting today.

The two minister-nominees to take the seat on Day-four of the vetting process served in the same portfolio in the first term of President Akufo-Addo’s government between 2017 and 2021.

Amoako-Atta, 69, is the Member of Parliament for Atiwa West in the Eastern Region, while Ambrose Dery, 64, is the Member of Parliament for Nandom in the Upper West Region.

The Communications and Digitisation Minister-designate Ursula Owusu with Mr Dan Botwe, Minister-designate for Local Government, Decentralisation & Rural Development took turns to be vetted on Monday.
