Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ken Agyapong has disclosed that he makes a whopping $800,000 from rent every month.
The Politician cum business magnate made the revelation in an interview on TV3 Morning show, Wednesday.
This was after the host, Roland Walker asked him if he makes his money largely from government procurement or contracts.
Ken Agyapong answered: I have a lot of businesses”, But the host retorted, “that’s a vague response, Mr Ken Agyapong.”
The firebrand politician swiftly added: “Even rent alone in this country, I make over $800,000 rent a month, yes, $800,000 rent a month, after withholding taxes. So now that I am not doing any contract, am I not Ken Agyapong?
Mr Agyapong who is confident of winning the Flagbearer race of the NPP, further claimed that none of the politicians in Ghana has created more jobs in the country than him.
The Member of Parliament for Assin Central is on recorded to have stated that he employs over 7,158 workers in Ghana.
