The Paramount Chief of the Abura Traditional Area in the Central Region has stated that there are no land guard issues in the Abakrampa community, contrary to reports circulating on social media.

The Paramount Chief, His Royal Majesty Emintsinminim Otu XI, addressed the press, stating that recent media reports claiming that over 15 residents had been injured by suspected land guards in Abura Abakrampa are false.

He urged the general public to disregard these reports, emphasizing that there is peace in Abura Abakrampa and the surrounding towns in the Traditional Area.

HRM Emintsinminim Otu XI stressed that no one has been assaulted, and no land has been damaged by any suspected land guards.

Some of the Sub-Chiefs, including the Tufuhemaa of Abura Wiomoa, Nana Ekua Apeatsewah II, also affirmed that there is peace in Abakrampa and the entire Abura State. They assured that both the Chiefs and residents are committed to maintaining peace in the State.

They assured the good people of Abakrampa, the Abura Traditional Area, and the general public to remain calm, as the Chiefs will not allow any misunderstandings, intimidation, or panic to overcome anyone in the community.

They emphasized that there is no fear or panic in the Abura Abakrampa community, and no residents have vacated the area due to alleged land guard issues. The general public should disregard these false and unfounded claims.

Speaking to Kasapa news reporter Yaw Boagyan, the Paramount Chief of the Abura Traditional Area, HRM Emintsinminim Otu XI, also appealed to the government for support with developmental projects.

According to him, their roads are in a deplorable state and need to be constructed before the upcoming elections. The roads from Abura Abakrampa Junction to Okyirku, from Gyabankrom to Ayeldu, from Afrangua Junction to Ansafona and Mpeseduadze, and from Abura Dunkwa to Aboase are in bad condition, and the contractors have vacated the sites. Many roads in the Abura Traditional Area have been left in poor states.

He also mentioned that the health center in Abura Abakrampa needs to be upgraded to a polyclinic due to overpopulation. He cautioned journalists to report accurately as the elections approach.
