A total of 892 out 1,006 voters turned out to vote at the December 2, 2024 special Voting exercise at the Krowor Constituency representing 88.67% of voter turnout.

At Polling Centre A – 450 out of the 503 voters on the list voted while 442 voters cast the ballots at Polling Centre B out of 503 total voters.

In all, a total of 892 voters turned out to vote at the Special Voting exercise on Monday December 2, representing 88.67 voter turnout while 114 voters did not show up to votes.

The turnout gives a positive impression ahead of the main Presidential and Parliamentary elections scheduled for Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the incumbent member of Parliament for Krowor on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress is seeking a renewed mandate from the constituents.

While Ing. Emmanuel Laryea Odai, the Candidate representing the New Patriotic Party, Azumah Courage Kwame Mensah of the National Democratic Party and Duke Afotey Mensah, an independent candidate all seeking to claim the seat from Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey.

The process at Krowor was largely peaceful to the end until confusion rocked when the ballot boxes were being taken into the Police Station safe room for keeps.

Meanwhile, all the Candidates have expressed optimism of winning the contest.

Over 100, 000 will be casting their votes at 244 polling stations at Krowor (excluding the two polling stations used for the Special Voting) on Saturday December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
