Anti corruption campaigner , Appiah Kubi ha the s shown support to the statement made by president John Dramani Mahama concerning the failed national cathedral that is should be investigated. He stated that the cathedral is not the government’s responsibility and that government should invest the funds in the educational sector rather.

Speaking to kasapa fm he stated that the responsibility of the government is to provide proper education and not built a cathedral.

” It is not written anywhere that a government should build a cathedral, government responsibility is to build schools , hospitals

He later stressed on the investigation of the cathedral

” The money that has been mismanaged is the taxes of the citizens so yes there should be investigation on it , this will helps us know where the money use for the cathedral went” he said.

He added that the new government shouldn’t continue the construction of the cathedral because more money will be wasted and moreover the cathedral is not important.

” That project should be stopped because it very unnecessary and would not benefits Ghanaians” he remarked
