The flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has entreated Ghanaians to patronize locally manufactured Kantanka range of vehicles.
He made this statement when he visited the company after a test drive of the Omama pickup.
“I test drove the Kantanka Omama pickup and promised to purchase a few for the upcoming campaign.’’
Nana Addo further stated that he will support the local manufacturers should he win the 2016 presidential election.
He posted the message on his facebook wall saying “I assured the Management and Staff of Kantanka Automobile Ltd, and by extension all local manufacturing companies that if I win the 2016 election and become President, my government will support local, Ghanaian manufacturing companies.’’
The Kantanka range of vehicles were officially launched last month. The vehicles comes in different models including Kantanka SUV, Kantanta K71 and Kantanka pickups.
The vehicles have been certified by the Ghana Road Safety Commission, Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), and all other state agencies both local and internationally after meeting the required international standards.
