The Member of Parliament for Obuasi West, Kwaku Kwarteng, says Ghana’s educational system ought to have advanced to a stage where the West African Examination Council (WAEC) had fair competition.

That he says would have enhanced its efficiency.

Kwarteng says year in year out WAEC gives far more than enough reason for its integrity to be questioned.

“WAEC needs to strengthen its security arrangement. It has to be helped in this and the only thing to help WAEC do this is to give it competition. If you don’t fix this you’re out.”
