Former General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, a.k.a Sir John says he has no doubt his party will retain the Talensi seat.
Their candidate he says is in touch with tradition of the Tongo traditional area.
“The people have resolved to vote for a home boy; B.T Baba is not acclimatized with the traditions and customs of the place,” Sir John told Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM.
The NPP he adds is presenting a credible candidate in Thomas Duanab Wuni, insisting the ruling government has done little for the people in terms of development.
“What former President Kufuor initiated to boost real development in the area, are still the things we’re seeing now; No difference.”
