A woman reportedly murdered her mother, brother, three children and two dogs then invited a man back to the house and had sex with him while their bodies lay in the property.

And then she killed herself during the horrific incident in Austria, it is claimed.

Detectives are investigating the killing of children Sebastian, 10, Fabian, 9, and Michelle, 7, as well as their uncle Peter, 41, and their grandmother Mathilde, 59.

The woman, identified only as Martina, is said to have used a gun to shoot the two adults, and then later killed the children.

Police recovered the three children’s corpses stretched out on their beds with blankets over them.

Martina apparently had then invited the man, who is believed to be someone she met recently, back to the place where he has confirmed they had sex.

Police have already ruled out the man as having anything to do with the killing.

They say it was clear that he had no idea the bodies of the five dead people including the three children were also in the house in a different room of the 30-room property.

The two family dogs had also both been shot dead, it has now been confirmed.

It is believed that Martina had sent the man a text message inviting him round.

After having sex, he had turned up the next day but had got no answer when he knocked on the door, and had therefore left a small present for her.

The next day he went back and left a note pinned to the door, as well as a small bag with nuts, chocolates and oranges for the children.

At this time, police believe that Martina was already dead – having killed herself as well.

She reportedly managed to throw off anyone who might have checked by telephoning the school to say that the children were being kept at home because of a death in the family.

The six bodies were discovered in a middleclass home in Boheimkirchen, Austria, after the murdered brother’s boss reported him missing.

The woman’s estranged husband and father of the three children did not live in the home.

School staff later confirmed the macabre call saying: “We were told the grandmother of the children had unexpectedly died.

“We were told they would not attend classes for a couple of days.”
