A form two Science student of Koforidua Secondary Technical School (SECTEC), has died after sneaking out of School saturday night.
The deceased student reportedly died from heart attack. The body has since been deposited at the morgue pending police investigation.
Information gathered by Kasapa News Eastern Regional Correspondent Kojo Ansah, indicates that the deceased together with some colleagues sneaked out of the school to attend an entertainment event held by Liberty Vocational Institute Saturday Evening but failed to return to school and instead opted to sleep with friends at GATECO Hostel which is located some distance away from the School.
The student reportedly suffered severe heart attack at around 2am Sunday dawn which led to him vomiting blood but the students around couldn’t get car to rush the dying student to hospital.
They only got means of transport around 5am and rushed him to the Koforidua Regional Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The parents of the deceased rushed to the School Sunday from Akyem Oda upon being informed by School Authorities.
The School authorities are scheduled to hold emergency meeting over the incident.
