A planned simulation exercise by the Ghana National Fire at the West Hills Mall Thursday took a different twist when persons who were not directly involved got it all twisted.
The exercise has since been explained by the state institution as make-believe.
Deputy National Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Prince Billy Anaglate told Kasapa News it was a mock run, adding fire had not gutted any portion as feared by some users of the facility.
Eye witnesses say the fire alarm at the facility made a loud sound Thursday morning prompting buyers and shoppers who didn’t know what was going on to hurriedly exit the mall only to find out minutes later it was a mock exercise.
