A 48 year old taxi driver, Mohammed Mensah has committed commit suicide by hanging at New Nkusukum, a community in Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region.

The unfortunate incident happened Tuesday around 4:30am.

Speaking to Kasapa FM News Yaw Boagyan, people close to the deceased disclosed that he had a misunderstanding with his car owner three days ago resulting in the owner taking back his car from him.

The action is believed to have pushed Mohammed to commit suicide.

He left behind two children of which the last born is 4 months and the first born is two years.

The body has been deposited at the Saltpond government hospital for autopsy and presevation.

The Mankessim police command has commenced investigation into the matter.
