Highlife Music Legend and Presidential aspirant of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has said the umbrella body of musicians in Ghana cannot be controlled by hiplife artistes.
According to him, the hiplife artistes are not competent enough to control and direct the affairs of the body.
“The current state of our mother body (MUSIGA); because ‘Yooyos’ are controlling it’s, everything has been messed up.”
Ambolley who is confident of wining at the upcoming delegates’ congress of the Musician Union descended heavily on the hiplife artists in an interview on Kumasi-based Ash FM this week.
The delegates congress of MUSIGA comes off in Koforidua from October 29-31.
