Inter Allies winger, Evans Mensah has been handed a late call-up to the Black Stars for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mozambique.

Mensah will hold his first workout session with Avram Grant’s side at the Accra Stadiumat 4.00pm.

The 18-year-old has so far put up an impressive display for the Tema based club, which has earned him three Man-of-the-Match accolades in the five week old Premier League.

Mensah’s call-up comes two days after Black Stars Assistant Coach Maxwell Konadu monitored him in Inter Allies 3-2 defeat to Hearts of Oak.

Mensah is considered as a replacement for winger David Accam, who has been ruled out for two weeks with a knee injury.
