Pollster, Ben Ephson has conceded that he got his projection on the outcome of the Presidential election wrong.

The renowned pollster made the admition in an interview with GH ONE TV’s Nana Aba Anamoah Thursday.

He said to the extent that his prediction of who will win the December 7 Presidential election did not reflect the sentiments of the electorate, so be it.

Mr Pollster Ephson, 8 days before the elections, predicted a first round victory for Ghana’s President John Mahama.

He projected a 52.4% of popular votes for the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama and 45.9% for the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Flagbearer, Nana Akufo Addo.

However based on provisional Presidential results from 263 Constituencies out of 275,  Nana Akufo-Addo is leading by 53.47%, (5,468,502 Voteswith incumbent President John Mahama trailing with 44.75% (4,576,858 Votes).
